International manifesto of SCI

            SCI is an international peace movement, consisting of many groups, branches and individuals. The different parts of SCI are reasonably independent. Working for peace and justice means different things in different places. Yet we do share a lot of ideas and values. SCI has an international constitution describing aims, membership rules and procedures. The constitution starts with the aims of SCI. This part was also published separately as the “manifesto of SCI”.

The aims of SCI are to promote peace, international understanding and solidarity, social justice, sustainable development and the respect for the environment.

            SCI believes that all people are capable of living together with mutual respect and without recourse to any form of violence to solve conflicts.
