SCI is a peace organisation that co-ordinates international voluntary projects across all five continents. These projects can be both short term (
workcamps of 2 - 4 weeks) or long term (
LTV placements of 3 - 12 months), and span a wide range of topics.
These projects aim to give volunteers the opportunity to experience and demonstrate peaceful living with people from different cultures, at the same time as contributing in a positive way to other communities.
SCI also organises many
seminars, trainings and meetings on both a national and international level. These can focus on specific themes or regions, and you can find out more about them from your
local branch.
