Support SCI

Basida workcamp, Spain (2011)
SCI is working for a more peaceful world. Therefore we send volunteers to all kinds of projects every year. We organise information sessions, preparation weekends and follow-up activities for them. We arrange health insurance for our all volunteers. We offer study sessions on peace education and a variety of seminars, trainings and meetings to improve the quality of volunteering. And there is more: like local, national and international campaigns to raise awareness about local and global issues. Or the organisation of meetings for partners and branches to discuss new projects and evaluate existing ones.
To do all this, we could use your support really well! There are various ways to help SCI build a more peaceful world. For example, if you have some time to spare, you could become active in your own country by helping your local SCI branch or partner organisation set up all kinds of voluntary activities. There is always something you like or something you are good at. Just contact your local SCI branch or partner organisation. You can also become active at the international level. There are often volunteers needed for international prepteams to set up a training or support a communication campaign online for example. You can keep an eye on vacancies to find out what positions you can apply for. If you dont have a lot of time, or if being an activists is not really your thing, then you can still support SCI by becoming a donor.
