Our structure

SCI is a volunteer organisation, which means that volunteers are the core of SCI. Activities are organised for volunteers, and by volunteers! In short: volunteers are SCI. They are organised in 44 branches located in different countries. SCI has branches in all continents, but they are mainly concentrated in Europe and Asia.
In SCI several international working groups are active. They are made up of SCI branches, groups, and partner organisations. Working groups are either active in a thematic area or in a specific geographical region.
The coordination between the branches, the working groups and any international activity is realised thanks to the international coordination structure of SCI.
To implement all its activities SCI can count on a vast network of partner organisations which is spread all over the world.
