Everyone is welcome to get involved with SCI - Our workcamps, seminars and trainings are open to all, regardless of age, gender, culture, religious or economic background.
The fist step is to contact your
local branch. They can place you in a
workcamp, but there are also many other ways to get involved. As well as general office activities, the branches often also run their own projects, trainings, seminars and fundraisers. Most offices are supported almost entirely by volunteers so your help is always welcome and extremely valuable. It's also a great way to meet new friendly, interesting and creative people who care about the world.
The more you get involved with SCI, the more it can broaden your horizons. SCI runs many
international seminars and trainings each year and there are many opportunities to participate in or help organise such events.
Volunteers can also become more active through an
international working group where they can focus on one particular area eg. refugees, the environment or the Mediterranean region.
SCI branches organise various national and international projects, on various themes, that need your participation! Ask your local branch about availability of international workcamps, seminars, training sessions, study visits, etc.
