Summer University 2005 - MadridSummer University 2005 – Madrid, Spain was the starting point of an event which has now become a tradition in SCI. The event focused on important topics related to organisational management and had in its programme five modules with sessions on Project Management, Volunteer Management, Democratic Participation, Communication and Promoting Peace. Summer University 2006 - EdinburghAdvanced Organisational Skills – 2006, Edinburgh, Scotland (Summer University 2), is the second training event designed to support the activity of the active volunteers and staff working in the offices. This time the event focused on three main topics (Advanced Project Management, Volunteer Management and Effective Communication) and it brought together not only SCI activists, but also participants from like minded organisations such as YAP (Youth Action for Peace) and ALLIANCE.
Pacifist Voluntary Projects Seminar 2006 - SofiaThe main aim of the seminar was to evaluate the criteria and the PVP concept in general and to contribute to the education of the activists in promoting the PVP concept and therefore to encourage an increase in the number of Pacifist Voluntary projects run by SCI every year.
