How much does it cost to be an LTV?Depending on the country, the project, the sending branch and if the exchange is part of a financed exchange programme (e.g. EVS) the costs for the LTV will be different. Of course the applicant will be informed about the financial conditions for a particular exchange in advance. In general, doing long term voluntary work should not cost the LTV more than his/her travel costs between the country of origin and the country where the volunteer works and an exchange fee for the sending branch. In most of the exchanges the project provides accommodation and food, insures the volunteer and provides the volunteer with some pocket money. |
