Global Day of Climate Action

October 24 2009 will be remembered as the day when people from almost all nations joined and called for a clear solution to the climate crisis: reduction of the level of CO2 below 350 ppm (parts per million). 5248 actions in 181 countries worldwide and among them SCI branches in Sri Lanka, France, Italy, Hungary, Poland and Serbia.

SCI activists at COP15 and Klimaforum

Much attention and hope is also being dedicated to the 15th Conference of Parties to the UNFCCC, also know as COP15, which will take place in Copenhagen in less then a month. More than 30 SCI activists will join the COP15 and Klimaforum – Civil Society Summit on Climate Change which will happen in parallel to COP15! That much energy, people, hope, enthusiasam, optimism at one place might change the course of history... hopefully towards safe climate future... Just stay on-line and GAIA will keep you informed via Facebook, Twitter, Blog, mailing list and of course the SCI e-zine...
