From 8th to 12th October 2008, North-South Platform Meeting (NSPM) were successfully held at La Marlagne-Wepion, Namur, Belgium.
Thanks to the fantastic efforts from the host, SCI Belgium, the IS and Prep Team. A total of 52 delegates from 26 countries were able to converge their thoughts at wonderful venue such as Marcel Hichter Culture Centre.
The sheer number of delegates itself is second to ICM, perhaps. History was made when 6 network partners (Alliance) were present at the meeting. In the end of the meeting, new ideas and friendship were developed – A small step of all delegates; A big step for voluntary world.
Follow up work begun almost immediately after the meeting, as the ever efficient Prep-team members connecting all the dots created during NSPM. The result - 2008 NSPM Minutes & Report – is attached below for your further read.
