Hosted by IAL Sweden, the annual SCI North-South Working Groups' meeting just happened from 10th to 14th October, in the cold and wonderful place called Barnens O, in the Swedish countryside.
There have been great outcomes for the north-south working groups, especially for Africa WG. For the first time in SCI history, Africa WG has an African activist in the Steering Group, Sylvestre Sename Koku Aklamanu, general coordinator of Astovot Togo since 2005.
Astovot Togo is the first association of Togo and the motor for many other civil society organizations in the country. Astovot is celebrating 50 years anniversary this year.
