A Long Term Volunteer is needed for the International Secretariat of SCI (Service Civil International). The office is based in Antwerp, Belgium.
The period of service will be for 10-12 months and start on 12th of December 2007. (However it might be considered that the volunteer would start already 22nd of October, if the volunteer could be available, if possible visa procedures would be finished, and if the international budget would allow for this.) The volunteer would finish at the end of October 2008 (with may be a possibility to be prolonged for one or two more months).
The name of the post is Exchange Support LTV. The volunteer will be the main person administrating the volunteer exchanges with Europe and South partners/branches and coordinating the North-South work of SCI. The volunteer will also support SCI to organise the SCI Technical European Meeting in the first quarter of 2008 and the North South Working Groups Platform Meeting in October 2008.
