Service Civil International has taken the initiative to send a letter to the European Commission, related to the insurance company AXA and some of its investments for military purposes. Up till now, AXA has been insuring European Voluntary Service (EVS). Soon the Commission will select an insurance company for the next period to insure EVS volunteers.
As you can see in the letter below, SCI and likeminded organizations have asked the European Commission not to select any insurance company that would be involved with such and other unethical investments.
