LTEG stands for Long Term Exchange Group and works for the international coordination of LTV exchanges, assisting the branches and partners and organising seminars and training on LTVing.
The
mission of LTEG is to promote the aims of SCI by LTV exchange, considering it as an essential activity of SCI, complementary to workcamps.
The
aims of LTEG are: to strengthen and improve the LTV activities in SCI, to involve more branches and partners in the exchanges, to seek recognition for LTV exchange in SCI.
Steering Group
There are currently five members in the steering group: Mauro Carta (SCI-IT), Merle Weißbach (SCI-DE), Caroline Riegel (SCI-DE), Chris van der Kooij (VIA-NL), Sanna Hernelahti (KVT-FIN). The steering group can be contacted by e-mail:
lteg@scimail.org.
What we do - Plan of Action
LTEG's work is guided by the Plan of Action which was agreed on the Annual meeting. During the year LTEG activists and the steering group communicate by e-mail. Usually it is decided together who works on what part of the Plan of Action.
Since there are many different things to do the steering group would be very happy if volunteers would comment, proof read or write and prepare things from time to time.
