Asia International is the newest of the SCI working groups. It was formed in 2006 and it’s main tasks are to:
- Co-ordinate the exchanges between Asia and Europe
- Coordinate the Asia-Europe Exchange Programme (AEEP)
- To promote and develop Inter-Asia Exchanges (South-South exchanges)
- To develop a network and strengthen the co-operation with new and existing partners
- To develop common projects between Asia and Europe and if possible the rest of the world
- To act as the co-ordinating body for the South Asian countries on matters and decision relating to the programs as listed below, to the European branches in particular
- To insure a good communication between Asian branches, partners and the rest of the world
